Photography Trip To Dalat

On March 19th - 21st, 2010, about 25 students and lecturers help a trip to Dalat. The objective of this workshop will focus on the attention to detail in both technical as well as the creative side of photography. All participants are already proficient photographers and this exposure will enable the group to dig deeper bringing them into the new areas of exploration.

Da Lat "The city of thousand of Pines" is a historic landmark with its explicit beauty.
Its natural setting gives a good inspirational spot for photographers to appreciate the scenery, fresh air, vivid blue skies, trees and the color palette on flower fields parks.

The trip will be covering elements from landscape, architecture down to small details in which will provide them the opportunity to play with texture and lights from daytime photography to night photography.

This exposure will challenge the participants to enhance their creativity in choosing a unique and interesting subject as well as considering its composition and elements.

Activity: Photo Competition

Take a photo based on the following categories

CATEGORY 1: Nature (Landscape, Scenery, Sunset, Sunrise)

CATEGORY 2: Structure (Buildings, Pagoda, Monuments)

CATEGORY 3: People (Local people, Friends, Daily Living)

Choose and select your best photo as your entry for the Photo Competition. Participants must submit a total of 3 entries (Only 1 photo on each category will be accepted)

Deadline of submission of photos will be on March 26, 2010.

** Make sure to keep your photo is high resolution (size not less than 3MB) All selected photos will be posted on exhibit and final winners will be declared after judging.
