Students gathering for their first ‘Raffles Business Club’ meeting!

August 18th 2010, Business Program Director, Mr. Jose Roberto DelRosario, had arranged the first Raffles Business Club meeting to welcome students from Business programs.  The main purpose of the club is tobuild financial literacy in both financial IQ and skills.   

RafflesBusiness Club is meant to open for RIC & RCDC business students -current and alumni.  However other members of RIC & RCDC, bothstudents and staffs are welcome. The Club will become a forum, channel,venue, or instrument for rounding up the education of businessstudents.  For the benefit of club members, the Club will be organizingactivities such as…

 On August 27th, the club will organize its first field trip to the National Library of Bangkok to increase the awareness of quality knowledge sources. The National Library is a public reference library in Bangkok, Thailand. It has a large collection, some of which dates back more than one hundred years, making it one of the oldest in Thailand. The library has an interesting and sometimes eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional features, with modern computer terminals sitting alongside card index systems.   At Raffles, we provide education that’s not just focus on building business, but to understand the aspect of life through exposure to other cultures.  Our objective is to lead the students to develop sustainable businesses.
